Star Snax offers a wide array of shapes and flavorings that are on-target with consumer trends while ensuring our customers’ expectations are fulfilled regarding food safety, traceability, and attainment of product quality specifications. A house brand is produced for smaller customers and distributors.

History
We want to provide our customers with crisp, crunchy and delicious-flavored tortilla chips, crackers, and related products consistently. Starting as Copak Solutions, Inc. in 2002, the company was purchased by a small group of investors in 2015 headed by the Star family. Headquartered in Conover, NC, Star Snax can service nearly 1/3 of the US population within 500 miles and ships across the US, Canada, and internationally.
Star Snax is a significant and efficient producer of tortilla chips and masa crackers with flexible production and packaging capabilities. We operate out of a 130,000 sq. ft. facility located in Conover, NC with nearby warehousing. We proudly employ over 125 associates and growing.
After the initial production line in 2002, a second production line was added in 2015 to service our customers' demands. As interest in Star Snax continued, we added a Brand New, $6.4M production line in late 2019 that allows production to exceed 33 million pounds per year with the flexibility to add additional days of production as needed. Production Lines are both dedicated to slower volume items as well as high-volume SKUs.
Star Snax has flexible pack-out lines capable of packaging bags in Master Cases (RSC’s), Display Cases, and Display Pallets in a wide range of bag sizes.
With over 16 years’ experience in ‘MASA Mixing’ using inclusions (including Vegetable bases, Roasted Pepper, Chia & Quinoa, and others), purees (including pumpkin seed, beet, and sweet potato amongst others), and on-trend topical seasonings that include Bacon Habanero, Sweet & Spicy, Hot and Extra Hot, Nacho/Salsa, Ranch, Cauliflower, and more, Star Snax is looked upon to assist our customers with new product development and commercialization.
